Mary Owusu-Hirsch draws on Ghanaian Adinkra symbolism in her portraits. Her recent exhibition, Trailblazers, showed at the Africa Centre in London and comes to the Norman Plastow Gallery, Wimbledon Museum this October (15–26 October).
